Mel Jones

Ymunodd Mel â'r tîm addysgu ym Mhrifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd ym mis Awst 2016. Mae hi'n darlithio ar lefel israddedig ac ôl-raddedig.  Hi yw Cyfarwyddwr Rhaglen y cwrs BSc (Anrh) Iechyd Cyhoeddus ac arweinydd modiwl ar gyfer nifer o fodiwlau Iechyd Cyhoeddus ar BSc (Anrh) Iechyd yr Amgylchedd a'r MSc mewn Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymhwysol.
 
Mae gan Mel radd Meistr mewn Iechyd Cyhoeddus ac mae'n aelod o'r Gyfadran iechyd cyhoeddus wrth iddi weithio tuag at ei Chymrodoriaeth o'r Academi Addysgu Addysg Uwch.

Dyfarnwyd  PhD i Mel o Brifysgol Coventry yn 2005. Roedd ei hymchwil yn seiliedig ar Alergedd i ffyngau dan do ac Asthma.  

Mae diddordebau ymchwil Mel yn canolbwyntio ar yr amgylchedd awyr agored a lles, epidemioleg clefydau heintus a gwella gwasanaeth.
