Ymchwil

Mae fy ymchwil gyfredol yn cynnwys ymchwilio i reoleiddio trawsgrifiadol megakaryopoiesis gan ddefnyddio systemau model celloedd meithrin. Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd yn yr effaith y mae dewisiadau ffordd o fyw yn ei gael ar fiomarcwyr heneiddio cellog, yn enwedig hyd telomerau. Mae peth o fy ngwaith yn y gorffennol hefyd wedi cynnwys ymchwilio i rôl gweithgaredd corfforol wrth fodiwleiddio digwyddiadau signalau moleciwlaidd sy'n gysylltiedig â chlefyd cardiofasgwlaidd, diabetes a gordewdra.
