Denish Parish

Denise has been a lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics since 2006.  She is the Programme Director for the BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics and also lectures on the PG Dip Dietetics and BSc (Hons) Public Health Nutrition Programmes.   She is module leader for various modules and year 3 and 4 tutor for the BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

She supervises MSc Dissertations and work based modules on the MSc Dietetics and MSc Advanced Practice (Dietetics).  Denise has a PG Cert in Teaching in Higher Education and an MSc in Advanced Dietetic Practice.   

Denise is the Academic co-ordinator for marketing social media and open days for the School of Health Care science.       

She has a wide ranging background in clinical dietetics. Her interests include nutritional support, food intolerance, paediatric and renal dietetics.

Denise is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a HCPC Registered Dietitian and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
