Hunaniaeth Ddiwylliannol – Mae gwaith yn y maes hwn yn cynnwys creu fframwaith i ddeall sut mae poblogaethau ymylol – yn enwedig grwpiau mewnfudwyr a phobl is-wladwriaeth – yn cynnal ac yn haeru dynodwyr diwylliannol trwy chwaraeon a hamdden.
Mynediad a Chydnabyddiaeth – Mae ymchwil yn y maes hwn yn canolbwyntio ar gynseiliau hanesyddol a realiti geowleidyddoll sy'n wynebu cydnabyddiaeth ryngwladol o ffederasiynau chwaraeon byd-eang a chyrff llywodraethu gwledydd nas cydnabyddir yn rhyngwladol.
Seilwaith Ffisegol – Mae ymchwil yn archwilio cyfethol adeiladau dinesig a gofodau ar gyfer chwaraeon trefol, hamdden a hamdden. Mae'r gwaith hwn yn canolbwyntio ar ddull microhanesyddol sy'n tynnu sylw at gysylltiadau rhwng bywiogrwydd deinamig datblygiad trefol a symudiadau athletau cyfoes.
