Mae Katie’n seicolegydd siartredig Cymdeithas Seicolegol Prydain (BPS), yn seicolegydd iechyd cofrestredig y Cyngor Proffesiynau Iechyd a Gofal (HCPC) ac yn Dirprwy Ddeon Ysgol Chwaraeon Caerdydd.

Mae hi wedi gwneud cyfraniad sylweddol at ddatblygiad dysgu, addysgu ac ymchwil seicolegol cymhwysol gan gynnwys cyhoeddi 2 werslyfr hybu iechyd. 

Mae hi wedi gweithio fel ymgynghorydd/asesydd ar gyfer BPS, HCPC a Llywodraeth Cymru. Mae hi hefyd yn Uwch Gymrawd yr Academi Addysg Uwch.

    Rwyf wedi cyflwyno seicoleg iechyd, cymdeithaseg iechyd, seicoleg cyfryngau, cyfathrebu risg, dulliau cynnal arolwg, dulliau ymchwil, ystadegau a damcaniaethau newid ymddygiad i fyfyrwyr israddedig ac ôl-raddedig ar ystod o raglenni seicoleg, gweithiwr iechyd proffesiynol a chwaraeon. Yn ogystal, bûm ynghlwm â dylunio a datblygu nifer o raglenni newydd yng Nghaerdydd gan gynnwys y rhaglenni MSc achrededig BPS mewn Seicoleg Iechyd a Fforensig ac yn fwy diweddar darpariaeth Hyfforddi Chwaraeon HND gyda'n partner AB masnachfraint Coleg Caerdydd a’r Fro (CAVC) . 
    Yn fwy diweddar, rydw i'n ymwneud fwyfwy â mentora cydweithwyr benywaidd fel rhan o ymrwymiad y brifysgol i hyrwyddo ac annog gyrfaoedd academaidd menywod o gefndiroedd STEM.
