Dechreuodd Dr Massoud ei gyrfa fel archwilydd 20 mlynedd yn ôl, gan weithio ar ddau gleient rhyngwladol mawr o'r diwydiant petroliwm. Ar ôl ychydig flynyddoedd bu'n dilyn ei hastudiaeth ôl-raddedig a'i hymchwil ar gyfrifoldeb cymdeithasol corfforaethol a datgelu cwmnïau rhyngwladol mewn diwydiannau sy'n sensitif i'r amgylchedd a derbyniodd radd meistr mewn Cyllid a Buddsoddi a PhD mewn Cyfrifeg o Brifysgol Nottingham. Ers hynny, bu ganddi nifer o swyddi academaidd mewn sefydliadau addysg uwch dramor ac yn y DU gan gynnwys Prifysgol Caerdydd a Phrifysgol Coventry. Bu hefyd yn gweithio fel ymgynghorydd cyllid ac adolygiad cynhwysfawr o wariant a chynghorydd ar gyfer nifer o brosiectau'r UE ac UNDP sy'n cwmpasu'r sectorau addysg uwch a busnes. Datblygodd Hiba brofiad academaidd a phroffesiynol rhyngwladol cryf sy'n cynnwys cymryd dyletswyddau a chyfrifoldebau mewn addysgu, goruchwylio, ymchwil, menter ac arweinyddiaeth ac fe'i cydnabuwyd yn uwch gymrawd yr Academi Addysg Uwch. Yn ddiweddar, mae Hiba wedi ymuno â Bwrdd Golygyddol y Journal International of Business Governance and Ethics (ABS 2021, 2*).

Addysgu.

Mae Hiba wedi dylunio, datblygu a chyflwyno ystod eang o fodiwlau cyfrifeg a chyllid ar gyfer rhaglenni israddedig ac ôl-raddedig. Ar hyn o bryd mae Hiba yn addysgu Rheoli Perfformiad Uwch, Rheolaeth Ariannol ar gyfer Gwneud Penderfyniadau, Materion Cyfoes mewn Cyfrifeg, Cyllid, Economeg a Bancio. Mae Hiba wedi goruchwylio traethodau hir nifer o feistri, MBA, PhD a DBA yn llwyddiannus.

Ymchwil

Mae gan Dr Massoud ddiddordeb mewn amrywiaeth o ymchwil yn bennaf ym maes Cyfrifoldeb Cymdeithasol Corfforaethol a Datgelu, Cynaliadwyedd ac Atebolrwydd, Llywodraethu Corfforaethol, Rheoli Addysg Uwch, yn ogystal â materion ieuenctid a rhywedd.

Datblygu cynnig “MATRE” (Moderneiddio Addysgu ac Ymchwil Academaidd mewn Busnes ac Economeg yn Syria a Libanus) ac yn llwyddiannus yn dilyn grant Tempus y CE o €943,266.00 tuag at ariannu'r prosiect hwn. Mae'r prosiect yn mynd i'r afael â blaenoriaethau addysg uwch cenedlaethol a rhanbarthol ac mae wedi'i gynllunio i ddiwygio'r cwricwla Busnes ac Economeg a hyfforddi ymchwilwyr yn y meysydd hyn ar sgiliau ymchwil a chyhoeddi a chryfhau'r cysylltiad rhwng prifysgolion a'r sector busnes er mwyn cael gwell rôl o brifysgolion yn cymdeithas. Mae rhai o nodau'r prosiect hwn yw rhoi hwb i'r amgylchedd ymchwil a hyrwyddo diwylliant ymchwil mewn ysgolion busnes dethol yn Syria a Libanus, i hyrwyddo moderneiddio cwricwla a sgiliau addysgu a dulliau ym maes busnes, i osod a gweithredu triongl gwybodaeth (addysg, arloesi, ) yn y sefydliadau hyn ac i gynnig polisïau a rheoliadau cysylltiedig. Cychwynnais syniad y prosiect gyda grŵp o gydweithwyr ac roeddwn yn aelod o dîm datblygu'r cynnig. Mentor gyda Chynllun Mentora Cara.
