Rwy'n Arweinydd Rhaglen Saesneg Uwchradd TAR yn Ysgol Addysg a Pholisi Cymdeithasol Caerdydd. Cyn hyn, bûm yn arwain y TAR Saesneg ym Mhrifysgol Newman Birmingham am wyth mlynedd, a hefyd cefais rôl Arweinydd Rhaglen ar gyfer y Rhaglen Uwchradd gyfan am bron i ddwy flynedd. Rwyf wedi dysgu ar amrywiaeth o gyrsiau, gan gynnwys modiwlau israddedig, dysgu gydol oes a meistr.
 
Mae fy ngwaith ym maes addysg uwch yn dilyn nifer o flynyddoedd yn gweithio i'r gwasanaeth cynghori ar gyfer ysgolion uwchradd yn Swydd Gaerloyw a phedair blynedd ar ddeg fel athro Saesneg yn Hull, Cernyw a Swydd Gaerloyw, gan gynnwys cyfnod sylweddol o amser fel pennaeth adran.
 
Rwyf wedi dilyn diddordeb yn y defnydd o dechnolegau digidol mewn addysgu Saesneg uwchradd, ac yn benodol mewn defnyddio'r bwrdd gwyn rhyngweithiol. Mae fy nhraethawd PhD yn ystyried costau byrddau gwyn rhyngweithiol ar gyfer athrawon Saesneg. Am nifer o flynyddoedd rwyf wedi bod yn aelod o'r National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE), gan gynnwys bod yn gydlynydd rhanbarthol ar gyfer Canolbarth Lloegr a bod yn aelod o'r pwyllgor TGCh. Rwyf hefyd wedi ymwneud'r National Writing Project, i hyrwyddo athrawon fel ysgrifenwyr, trwy redeg grŵp ysgrifennu ar gyfer athrawon yn Birmingham a Gorllewin Canolbarth Lloegr.
