Mae fy mhrif ddiddordebau ymchwil yn ymwneud ag emosiynau, a chefnogaeth gymdeithasol mewn gwahanol ddisgyblaethau, a seicoleg chwaraeon yn benodol. Mae fy ymchwil ar emosiwn yn canolbwyntio ar effeithiau rhyng a rhyngbersonol emosiynau mewn cyd-destunau cymdeithasol a pherfformiad. Mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig mewn sut mae (rheoleiddio) mynegiadau emosiwn yn siapio perthnasoedd personol (ee, hyfforddwr-athletwr, ymarferydd-athletwr), yn dylanwadu ar ddeinameg grwpiau (ee heintiad ofn / hapusrwydd mewn timau) ac yn hwyluso pobl i ffynnu yn uchel- sefyllfaoedd pwysau (ee rôl balchder a chywilydd wrth saethu cosb). Mae fy ymchwil ar gymorth cymdeithasol wedi'i anelu at ddeall a yw / sut mae gweithredoedd cefnogol llafar a di-eiriau (ee, cyffwrdd) yn helpu athletwyr sy'n delio â mân straen a phwysau mawr ac archwilio'r goblygiadau i aelodau rhwydwaith cymorth fel hyfforddwyr ac ymarferwyr.
