Mae Lynne yn Athro Seicoleg Chwaraeon a Chydlynydd y Fframwaith Rhagoriaeth Ymchwil (REF) yn Ysgol Chwaraeon Caerdydd. Am yr 20 mlynedd diwethaf mae Lynne wedi cyfuno ei hymrwymiad i ymchwil o ansawdd uchel gyda'i hangerdd am waith cymhwysol a dysgu ac addysgu.

Mae hi'n Olygydd Cysylltiol ar gyfer y Journal of Applied Sport Psychology ac yn Aelod o Fwrdd Golygyddol The Sport Psychologist. Fel Seicolegydd Chwaraeon Siartredig BPS (a Seicolegydd Chwaraeon Achrededig BASES cyn hynny) mae hi'n darparu cefnogaeth seicoleg chwaraeon i nifer o sefydliadau chwaraeon Cenedlaethol, Cyrff Rheoli Cenedlaethol ac athletwyr perfformiad uchel.

Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n dysgu ar fodiwlau Israddedig ac Ôl-raddedig mewn seicoleg chwaraeon ac ar lefel Ôl-radd, ar ddulliau ymchwil. Rwy'n arweinydd modiwl ar gyfer modiwl MSc Seicoleg Chwaraeon - Datblygiad Proffesiynol ac Ymarfer ac yn goruchwylio myfyrwyr traethawd hir ar bob lefel (hyd at a chan gynnwys PhD). Hyd yn ddiweddar roeddwn yn Gyfarwyddwr Rhaglen yr MSc mewn Seicoleg Gymhwysol / Chwaraeon, a chyn hynny yr MSc mewn Gwyddoniaeth Hyfforddi.

Ross Wadey - An investigation into the relationship between hardiness, life stress and injury occurrence, athletes emotional responses to injury, and their subsequent adherence to rehabilitation programmes.  Cardiff metropolitan University. Awarded the Association for Applied Sport Psychology Doctoral Dissertation of the year award (2011).

Ian Mitchell - An examination of the effect of social support on athletes’ psychological responses to sport injury. Cardiff metropolitan University. Completed June 2009. Co-supervisor: Dr Bill Davies. External Examiners Prof. Doug Carroll and Prof. David Lavallee.
