Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n Ddeon Ysgol Reoli Caerdydd ac yn gyfrifol am reolaeth weithredol y sefydliad o ddydd i ddydd. Cyn hyn roeddwn yn Ddeon Cyswllt yr Ysgol (Addysg a Menter Ôl-raddedig) yn Ysgol Reoli Caerdydd, Prifysgol Fetropolitan Caerdydd. Mae'r swydd ym Mhrifysgol Fetropolitan Caerdydd yn seiliedig ar y gwaith o ddatblygu'r Ysgol ym maes entrepreneuriaeth, ynghyd â chreu sefydliad sy'n cynhyrchu incwm o amgylch y pwnc hwn.  

Yn flaenorol roeddwn yn Athro Menter a Busnesau Bach  ac yn Ddirprwy Gyfarwyddwr Ysgol Fusnes Prifysgol Morgannwg yn Ne Cymru ac yn Gyfarwyddwr Sefydliad Menter Cymru. Yno fe arweiniais dîm o dri deg o academyddion a staff y prosiect o fewn yr Adran Menter a Datblygu Economaidd yn yr Ysgol Fusnes. Gyda dros saith deg o gyhoeddiadau academaidd yn fy meysydd o ddiddordeb ymchwil, rwy’n adnabyddus ar draws y DU ac Ewrop am fy ngwaith ymhlith fy ngrŵp cymheiriaid. 

Ymchwil 

Mae fy ymchwil yn cynnwys entrepreneuriaeth, arloesi a datblygu cwmnïau bach yng Nghymru a chymariaethau gyda meincnodau rhyngwladol ar ddatblygu menter. Mae fy ngwaith ymgynghori masnachol wedi cynnwys gwaith ar gynhyrchu'r Cynllun Gweithredu Entrepreneuriaeth i Gymru (ar gyfer y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol), yn ogystal â strategaethau datblygu economaidd ar gyfer asiantaethau lleol a chenedlaethol. Rwyf hefyd wedi bod yn llwyddiannus wrth ddenu symiau mawr o arian ar gyfer nifer o brosiectau’r UE sy’n canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu gwell dealltwriaeth o fenter ac entrepreneuriaeth, yn ogystal â phortffolio o gymwysterau ar lefel israddedig a Meistr mewn Entrepreneuriaeth.
