Mae Dr Ana Calderon yn Ddarlithydd yn Adran Gyfrifiadureg Prifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd. 

Mae prosiectau ymchwil a gwblhawyd yn cynnwys: 

  • Maes semanteg ffurfiol rhaglenni ieithoedd, gan gysylltu modelau gemau â modelau gofod cydlyniant, gan arwain at ddadansoddiad manwl o gyfansoddiad mewn Semanteg Gêm (traethawd PhD, y prif ganlyniad yw ymgorffori categori o gemau monoidol cryf, ffyddlon i mewn i gategori o fannau cydlynol). 
  • Darparu mecanweithiau ffurfiol ar gyfer dadansoddi sefyllfa gymdeithasol gymhleth, fel y rhai y deuir ar eu traws mewn ymateb brys, yn benodol ar ffurfioldebau bwriad unigol a chyfunol (ôl-ddothuriaeth). 
  • Ymhlith ei gwaith rhyngddisgyblaethol mae datblygu technoleg fel prostheteg wybyddol ar gyfer delweddu cysyniadau seryddiaeth ac astrobioleg, dysgu dylunio rhyngweithiol trwy feddwl cyfrifiadol, a bu hefyd yn gweithio ar ddatblygu meddalwedd, ar arwyneb rhyngweithiol mawr, i gefnogi'r rhai sy'n dioddef o ddementia.
