Rwy'n Brif Ddarlithydd mewn Rheoli Digwyddiadau, yn aelod gweithgar o'r Gymdeithas ar gyfer Addysg Rheoli Digwyddiadau (AEME), Cymrawd Addysgu Cenedlaethol yr Academi Addysg Uwch ac yn hyfforddwr PM4SD achrededig.

Mae llawer o'm hymchwil cyhoeddedig wedi canolbwyntio ar ddigwyddiadau a gwyliau cerddorol, yn enwedig y dylanwadau sy'n cyfrannu at adeiladu a defnyddio profiadau cyfoes yn yr ŵyl, agweddau cyfranogwyr, eu cymhellion dros gymryd rhan a'u dewisiadau ar gyfer profiadau digwyddiadau. Rwyf hefyd wedi cyhoeddi gwaith ar ddiwylliant cerddoriaeth ddawns, adeiladu cymdeithasol mannau digwyddiadau, rôl y cyfryngau wrth adeiladu a defnyddio profiadau digwyddiadau a defnyddio methodolegau ethnograffig ar gyfer ymchwil i ddigwyddiadau.

Mae prosiectau ymchwil diweddar yn cynnwys gwerthuso effeithiau economaidd cynnal Ras Cefnfor Volvo yng Nghaerdydd ym mis Gorffennaf 2018 a'r gwerthusiad o effaith economaidd Rowndiau Terfynol Cynghrair Pencampwyr UEFA 2017 ar ran Uned Digwyddiadau Mawr Llywodraeth Cymru.

Rwyf hefyd wedi gweithio gyda'r Asiantaeth Sicrhau Ansawdd fel arbenigwr pwnc ar adolygiad 2015-2016 o'r Datganiadau Meincnodi Pwnc ar gyfer Digwyddiadau, Lletygarwch, Hamdden, Chwaraeon a Thwristiaeth.

Rwyf wedi dysgu ac yn parhau i addysgu ar draws ystod o fodiwlau ym maes Rheoli Digwyddiadau ar lefel israddedig, ôl-raddedig a doethuriaeth.

Addysgu.

Rwy'n dysgu ar draws ystod o fodiwlau ym maes Rheoli Digwyddiadau. Rwyf yn ymwneud â goruchwylio graddau ymchwil ac mae gennyf un PhD ym maes digwyddiadau diwylliannol ac un cwblhau MPhil ym maes gwerthuso digwyddiadau. Rwyf hefyd yn goruchwylio traethodau hir Rheoli Prosiectau Digwyddiadau ôl-raddedig a rheoli Digwyddiadau israddedig.

Ymchwil

wy'n aelod o Ganolfan Ymchwil Twristiaeth Cymru (WCTR) a'r grŵp ymchwil Astudiaethau Digwyddiadau.

Mae diddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys effeithiau e-fenta gwerthuso digwyddiadau yn enwedig effeithiau amgylcheddol digwyddiadau a sut i'w gwneud yn fwy cynaliadwy.

Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd mewn dylunio digwyddiadau, rhyngweithedd symbolaidd ac adeiladu cymdeithasol digwyddiadau o ran y drafodaeth yn y cyfryngau ynghylch digwyddiadau a digwyddiadau fel mannau amgen i adnabod perfformiad.
