Students who have the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University:

Foundation Courses

The equivalent of 5 GCSEs (Grade C and above) to include Maths and English.

Undergraduate Courses

Students with good grades in their Hong Kong Certificate of Education (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Advanced Supplementary Level Certificate / Project Springboard Certificate AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course.

OR Students who have good grades in their Hong Kong Advanced Level Certificate.

OR Students with a good Honours Diploma / from Shue Yan College) Higher Diploma / Higher Diploma (from former polytechnics).

Postgraduate Courses

Holders of a Bachelor degree (Honours) / Bachelor degree (Ordinary) from a recognised institution in Hong Kong

OR Holders of a Masters degree from a recognised institution in Hong Kong

English Language Requirements

Appropriate Syllabus B HKCEE grade in English OR

IELTS 4.5 (4.0 in each area) is required for Foundation

IELTS score of 6.0 (5.5 in each area) is required for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses
