Cardiff Metropolitan has had a very close friendship with Brunei for over 20 years, with many students taking courses across a range of subjects including Art and Design, Business Studies, Education, Environmental Health Science, Food Science, IT, Hospitality and Tourism, Sport and Physical Education.

The University has held many graduation ceremonies in Brunei and has close relationships with the Bruneian Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health.

The Brunei Students Society is very active at Cardiff Metropolitan and members regularly organise events. These include Eid celebrations, Hari Raya, National Day and a wide variety of sporting and leisure activities.​

Cardiff Met Entry Requirements

Students who have ​the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Foundation Courses

The equivalent of 5 GCSEs (Grade C and above) to include Maths and English.

Undergraduate Courses ​

Students with good grades in their Cambridge GCE A levels

OR students with good gr​ades in their Matriculation exams

OR holders of a good BDTVEC Higher National Diploma

OR students with good grades in their Cambridge GCE O level AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course.

Postgraduate Courses

Holders of a Bachelor (Honours) degree / Bachelor (Ordinary) degree from a recognised institution in Brunei / the UK

OR mature students with work experience and a relevant undergraduate qualification.
