What is Study & Work Abroad?

Study & work abroad is the movement of staff and students from home institutions to institutions or organisations overseas for the purpose of study, research, work or volunteering. The Study & Work Abroad team at Cardiff Met help you understand the various opportunities for you to spend time abroad and encourage you to take part!

Who can get involved?

Anyone who is registered as a Cardiff Met student or staff member can take part in the programmes that we offer through Study & Work Abroad. There may be some restrictions or specific criteria depending on the scheme but we can advise you on this.

Do I need to speak a foreign language to apply?

Not at all! Many of the universities that we work with offer programmes in English. Certain exchange programmes will offer language courses to learn a little of the local language which will help you with day to day activities. If any opportunities do require language skills then they will state this clearly.

Who can help me with applications?
