‘I learnt Italian with the university and in my spare time and met new friends from around the world. It has enhanced my focus towards a particular area in the job market and I have become much more confident and self-reliant. In my job placement I did not have to speak any other language than English; however, I learnt basic Italian in order to communicate with locals.
