JoinEU-SEE - Scholarship scheme for academic exchange between EU and
Western Balkan countries.
This project is coordinated by
University of Graz, Austria, and is made up of a consortium of partner
universities including 10 Western Balkan universities and 10 European
universities, one of which is Cardiff Met.
The project offers
scholarships for undergraduate, master, PhD and post-doctoral students as well
as for university staff. Scholarships include insurance and a monthly
subsistence allowance and cover travel and participation costs. The JoinEU-SEE
activities offer scholarship grantees the opportunity to expand their academic
competences, their language skills as well as social and intercultural
competences, thus improving their employability in an ever faster changing
society. In addition, the work done in the context of the JoinEU-SEE project
will also help to consolidate the academic as well as the political, cultural
and economic co-operation between the EU and Western Balkan countries and within
the Western Balkans.
The first call for applications took place between November 9th 2012 and
February 1st 2013; any future calls for applications will be announced on the
JoinEU-SEE project website.
