Avempace III - Erasmus Mundus Connecting Europe and the Arab States in the
Eastern Mediterranean Region.
This project is coordinated by
Technische Universität Berlin, Germany, and is made up of a consortium of
partner universities including 10 Arab State universities and 10 European
universities, one of which is Cardiff Met.
The objective of the partnership coordinated by Technische
Universität Berlin is to create a network of Jordanian, Lebanese, Palestinian,
Syrian and European universities. Academic excellence is then promoted through joint
research, education and exchange of experience by awarding individual mobility
grants to contribute to a sustainable development of Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine
and Syria in the field of higher education and to improve the career prospects of
the scholars in their home countries.
