Rwy’n ddarlithydd mewn Astudiaethau Addysg Gynradd ac yn angerddol ynghylch defnyddio technoleg berthnasol i wella dysgu o fewn addysg. Rwyf wedi cael profiad helaeth yn y sector addysg, gan weithio fel athro Ysgol Gynradd yn Ne Corea, Sbaen ac yn fwy diweddar yng Nghymru.
Dechreuodd fy ngyrfa ar lwybr gwahanol iawn i Addysg, oherwydd enillais Radd mewn Newyddiaduraeth. Mae’r astudiaethau hynny, ynghyd â sgiliau gwerthfawr a ddysgais wrth deithio wedi cyfrannu at fy ngyrfa ddysgu.
Wrth fagu mwy o brofiad, datblygais ddiddordeb mewn defnyddio technoleg yn y dosbarth. Rwyf wedi bod yn ffodus yn fy ngyrfa i gael cyfle i arwain prosiectau ymchwil o fewn meysydd y mae gennyf ddiddordeb byw ynddynt, fel chwaraeon, cydweithredu rhyngwladol a thechnoleg o fewn Addysg.
Dechreuodd fy ngwaith addysgu o fewn Addysg Uwch yn 2015 pan gefais gyfnod ar secondiad i addysgu ar y radd BA Addysg Gynradd gyda Statws Athro Cymwys. Ar y rhaglen hon, roeddwn yn gyfrifol am arwain addysgu TGCh, Mathemateg a Daearyddiaeth; cefais gyfle hefyd i arwain ymchwil ar ddatblygu sgiliau digidol yn y Sectorau Cynradd ac Uwchradd. Yn ystod y secondiad hwn, tyfodd fy mrwdfrydedd i helpu datblygu eraill sy’n awyddus i gael mynediad i’r sector addysg.
