PhD
Ar hyn o bryd mae Theo yn cynnal prosiect ymchwil PhD sy'n cwmpasu theori newydd o falentanglement. Mae gwyro oddi wrth drefn ddisgwyliedig o bethau yn goleuo ymgysylltiad dealledig rhywun ag arteffactau wedi'u cynllunio a'r 'byd wedi'i ddylunio' anghyfannedd. Cynigir Malentanglement fel modd i ddeall rôl a lle hiwmor mewn dylunio, ac fel modd i gyfrif am yr anawsterau sy'n wynebu dyluniad / dylunwyr wrth ddisgrifio arteffactau neu estheteg arloesol iawn i bartïon eraill - fel cleientiaid neu'r cyhoedd yn ehangach. Felly mae'n cael effaith ar ddeall rôl hiwmor mewn ymarfer dylunio cyfranogol a defnyddiwr-ganolog effeithiol.
Mae Theo yn ymchwilydd yn Grŵp Ymchwil Metatechnology CSAD ac yn ymchwilydd sy'n cyfrannu at Transtechnology Research Group ym Mhrifysgol Plymouth.
Addysgu
Yn flaenorol bu Theo yn Arweinydd Pwnc ar gyfer Dylunio Cynnyrch yn CSAD, ac yn arweinydd pwnc dros dro ar gyfer 'Cytser' (hanes a theori CSAD o bwnc celf a dylunio).
Yn flaenorol, mae Theo wedi arwain modiwlau mewn rhaglenni MA, MFA, a MDes, ac mewn BA (Anrh) Dylunio Graffig, a BA (Anrh) Darlunio yn CSAD. Mae hefyd wedi dysgu myfyrwyr Technoleg Cerdd, a myfyrwyr Symudol, Gêm a Dylunio Gwe yn CSAD.
Roedd Theo yn gyfarwyddwr cwrs MA Design ym Mhrifysgol Cymru, Casnewydd (Nawr Prifysgol De Cymru), a bu hefyd yn dysgu yn eu rhaglen Cyfryngau Rhyngweithiol.
Masnachol
Tra'n fyfyriwr israddedig, cyd-sefydlodd Theo 3eyes Ymgynghoriaeth ddylunio gyda John Anthony Evans. Trwy 3eyes mae wedi cydweithredu'n rhyngwladol â phobl greadigol, gan ganolbwyntio ei sgiliau, egni, ac ethos dylunio 'ymyl costig' i mewn i waith masnachol ar gyfer cleientiaid fel Sony (Berlin), Mattel (Los Angeles), a Nokia (Helsinki). Nid yw 3eyes yn masnachu mwyach, ond erys archif o rai o'u prosiectau yma.
Astudiaeth flaenorol
Graddiodd Theo o'r Coleg Celf Brenhinol yn 2005 gyda gradd Meistr mewn Dylunio Rhyngweithio. Cyn hyn, astudiodd Design Futures ym Mhrifysgol Cymru, Casnewydd (Prifysgol De Cymru nawr), a graddiodd gyda gradd anrhydedd dosbarth 1af yn 2002.
OpenUp Music
Mae Theo yn ymddiriedolwr sefydlu OpenUp, cwmni elusennol hynod lwyddiannus, wedi'i leoli ym Mryste, y DU. Mae OpenUp Music yn grymuso cerddorion ifanc anabl i adeiladu cerddorfeydd ieuenctid cynhwysol. Maent yn gweithio gyda'r bobl ifanc hyn i ddatblygu offerynnau cerdd a repertoire hygyrch, herio disgwyliadau a chodi dyheadau. Ers 2013 mae OpenUp wedi sefydlu chwe cherddorfa ysgol arbennig gyntaf y DU ac yn Hydref 2015 lansiwyd y gerddorfa ieuenctid ranbarthol gyntaf dan arweiniad anabl a'u nod yw sefydlu'r gerddorfa ieuenctid genedlaethol gyntaf erioed dan arweiniad anabl erbyn 2018.
